What is PIRform®?
PIRform® is a brand new software package that will revolutionise the way reports and certificates are carried out. PIRform® intelligently analyses the data you enter as you enter it and updates the report as you go based on the recommendations of BS7671. PIRform® is designed to save you time and money and to help you produce more consistent and accurate reporting.
How does it work?
Let's say that you are doing a periodic inspection of a TT 3 phase - 4 wire system and you identify the main switch as a 3 pole isolator. As you enter that information, in accordance with Table 53.2 of BS 7671, PIRform® will:
Add an observation to page 2 stating: "In an installation forming part of a TT system, the installation requires the disconnection of all the live conductors".
Update page 4, putting an 'X' against the "presence and correct location of appropriate devices for isolation and switching".
If you then change the main switch type, the updates above will be reversed leaving you where you started. It's as simple as that! more...

Exciting features
PIRform® was designed by electrical professionals for electrical professionals. Although we have made it easy to use, it is packed with features that make the job easier.
We are going to keep adding more exciting features: production of schematic diagrams and ways to allow more than one engineer to work on the same report at the same time are things we have scheduled for the first year of release. We will be putting information about these features on our website.
When is it available?
We hope to be releasing the final version in the Autumn. Before that we will be making a version available for you to test - we call this our early access program. This is a fully working version that you can download from the website and that will allow you to produce periodic inspection reports. It will be time-limited but we will be keeping early access versions available right up until the final version is released.

How much does it cost?
We will initially have a product called PIRform Lite, which will consist of a periodic inspection report and domestic reporting and certification forms for just £75.The Pro edition will follow soon after, and will be priced at £199. If you do not want to renew your licence then you will still be able to access all the data you have put in, but you won't be able to enter new items. more...
